It’s been over a month since I signed the contract now and I still have no internet connection at home. I do not recommend Orange Freedom for anyone who wants an internet connection. Their customer service is worse than terrible to the extent that they ask me to do their job for them because they don’t know what the status is. They clearly want clients so badly that the customer service professional
asked me to contact the sales office where I signed the contract. When I informed him I will not play as an intermediate for him and communicate between companies, he told me that it’s not his job to call people and ask about my connection. So it seems that the customer service in Orange is based on the self-service principle, they clearly can’t be bothered.
So after a month of non-connectivity I canceled the contract and am now trying for a Neostrada connection with TPSA, we’ll see if this is any faster. Perhaps TPSA has too many difficulties working with other companies.
Needless to say it’s a very frustrating situation. In particular because I have to pay for my phone line connection during this time. grr…
Thanks to this little problem I have not had time to work on my wonderful project eat.wroclaw.pl. I hope I get it soon as I would really like to keep working on it. The rating system should be live soon! so look out for that.
