I was wondering recently how my life would be different if I had made different decisions. In particular I was wondering what would be different if I had stayed a developer in Wroclaw. Would I still be in Wroclaw? What position would I have?

I believe I have made the right decision to change careers and move to Munich, I have learnt a lot, experienced life in Munich, met many interesting people. I would not change any decisions I have made in the past as they are the part of what makes me, me.

If anyone knows how to do an activesync via bluetooth to a Pocket PC device then I would love to know.

My current procedure looks like this; I open my bluetooth settings on my laptop and exchance passkeys from my laptop to my mobile device, so it is recognized and everything seems ok. So next I create a new incoming port on my mobile (port 4 always, I don’t get an option to change this), after this I create a new outgoing port on my laptop. It even recognises my mobile in the dropdown list, so it definetly sees that this port on my mobile is ready to be connected to. So the port is created on my laptop, the number varies but seems to be incrementing each time I delete and create a port, I’m up to port 11. I click ok and go to activesync, at which point I go into the settings and check the box which says “Allow connections to one of the following:”, of which one of the options is the exact port that I just set up on my laptop.

So presumably the laptop created a connection with my mobile over bluetooth and my mobile created a link with activesync and thereby creating a link to my mobile. However when I try and connect it can’t find the device.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue??

I am definetly not going to complain that I am bored, in fact if I could just do nothing for a week or two I would be very happy. I am learning alot in my new position and how to control people ;), however it is quite taxing on my time and energy. There is alot to keep in mind and quite often frustrating problems arise that have non-trivial solutions. Apart from this I have a couple of flights organised back to Poland, firstly I am flying to warsaw on the 29th for a friends wedding over the weekend, after this weekend I am flying back to munich then to wroclaw on the 19th of July for a work team event somewhere around wroclaw. I’m not sure what it will be yet, but i’m sure it will be fun. In between these dates my girl is coming to visit for 2 weeks which I’m quite happy about.
