This is probably going to get me into a load of trouble with some people, but thats partly the point. Soccer, Football whatever you want to call it is officially the worst fucking sport in the world!. Any sport which causes fanatics to sing really really crappy jingles really really loud for 12 hrs straight! is shit. Ok I understand that it’s part of living in a noisy area, I have no problem with the noise generally, I like the fact that Wroclaw is a lively city and people are out having fun. However when there is a bunch of 20 or so football fanatics singing as loud as possible just outside your window, it really makes a strong argument that soccer is the worlds worst sport. They aren’t there for fun, they are there to annoy the fuck out of every one else, if this is fun to them and supporting soccer is the cause of this then it goes to follow that a sport that causes such anti-social behavior in people is just wrong. Not only that but when there is a match on half of the police force is needed just to keep them in line, thats just not right. not right at all!.

The very fact that half of my friends will disown me and never talk to me again for writing this is proof that this sport is the worst in the world.

If you still don’t understand why I’m annoyed and the film hasn’t played yet. Loop it for 12 hrs straight. (yes the started at around 7pm and ended when I left for work at 7am!!)

It’s been a month without any entries… Anyone care?

So I had a wonderful weekend in Szklarska (south west in Poland), nice relaxing, didn’t do much… it was like a mini holiday. On the way back on Sunday is when the fun began. As the bus pulled up it was clear that this was not the flagship for PKS Brzeg. I don’t think they could have provided a bigger piece of crap. Amazing that for a country that will host the Euro championships 2012 they provide such crap transport, and support when such crap transport breaks down in the middle of a village at night on Sunday. I had my doubts about the roadworthy-ness of the bus when it came time to climb a hill, it was not a very steep slope, however it was enough to make the driver go into first gear and reach a top speed of about 10kmph. At this point the bus was blowing alot of smoke. So we made it to the next village (Bolkow) and…. thats basically as far as the bus went. The bus driver called his base to find out if they can supply another bus for us, they said no they will simply send oil from Brzeg… For anyone who isn’t familiar with Poland’s Smaller towns and villages, thats about 130 km’s away. What a wonderful cheap solution they proposed. Together with alot of the people from the bus, we tried getting on the next bus, but it was also full and only accepted about 10 people. the same with the bus after that, I managed to get a space but alot of the people were left to wait. Of course I had to pay for the new bus ride, however I will be trying to get my money back from PKS Brzeg, we’ll see how it goes…. keep it real….

One of the worst meals I’ve ever had. While walking around Arkady Wroclawskie me and Aga decided to get something to eat, as we often eat at Pyramida in town we decided that it would be safe to eat at one of their franchised branches in the mall. It was like a scene from Fawlty Towers, from the moment we sat down to the time when we left unhappy nothing went right. For starters to get served you have to pick up a menu and number from the counter, then a waiter comes around, takes your order and brings you your food. Well this is the ideal situation, however the organization was so terrible that all of the orders were messed up, Aga ordered some chicken and received pork and what was not appreciated was that she received her meal about 15 mins before I did. This is not a nice thing for resteraunts to do, mess up orders and bring food at different times. However this was not the end of the fun, I also ordered chicken and when it arrived it looked OK, it was a fillet of chicken, grilled and rolled around some cheese… sounds nice dosn’t it, but as it turns out the inside was raw… yup raw chicken and cheese… not so tasty. A couple next to us had a similar problem but with a slice of beef. To go with this was a side of salad that wasn’t so fresh and some stale chips. Hmm… not so nice, so we decided to go, I asked for the bill and of course the waiter brings us the wrong one… After paying the right one we left. Awful meal.

I do not recommend this place, it’s terrible, stay away at all costs, they need a maccas in that mall.
